ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL???

Last Thursday kicked off the season for David's high school JV football team (they play TWO games before the first day of school!). Unfortunately, the outcome was not in our team's favor. As we used to say at Texas A&M, we didn't lose, we were just "outscored".
I LOVE watching football (any kind up through college; pro not as much), and I have to say although I am not quite ready for school to start, I am definitely ready for football season!

Katie has been begging us to make one of her favorite treats, and since we don't do as much camping as we used to, it's not something I think about making too often. But...we had the ingredients...the grill was still hot...the evening was beautiful...

Okay, I have to admit, that one with the bite out of it is mine!

Girls' Day Out

Last Friday, since the kids and I were off for Spring Break, Katie and I went to the theater for "Breakfast and a Movie". We had a lovely brunch (and free popcorn and a drink!) and saw "Hannah Montana". I have to admit, this movie will not make my Top Ten list, but we had a great time together and the music was surprisingly good (in fact, I think I'm going to get the soundtrack. Um...for Katie, of course)!

After the movie, we walked around and took some photos. I love that Katie is still okay with being my subject. I'm not sure how long that will last, but I'll take it while I can!

Baby Feet

Don't you just love baby feet? I just love their little toes, so plump and perfect!

I took these photos of Tommy recently. He's just three months old and such a charmer! Check out those beautiful eyes!

By the lake...

Last fall I went out with my friend Molly's kids to a lake near their house. You can see in the last photo that the lake was frozen that day, but it was actually warm enough to wear just sweaters!

The camera absolutely loves these guys--all three are so photogenic! Bryce and Ryan kept us laughing and Bailey was so sweet and patient! Thanks for a great time!
